Carlo Pianese is an English qualified solicitor with more than twenty years of experience in London, Milan and, since 2008, Dubai. During his career, he has assisted clients completing more than one hundred M&A transactions across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia in a variety of sectors, including finance, energy, hospitality, healthcare, technology and real estate. Well-versed both in early-stage investments and mature M&A transactions, he has also gained considerable experience as a trusted board advisor.
Carlo holds summa cum laude law degrees in Florence (undergraduate) and Nottingham (postgraduate). He is a visiting professor at LUISS University in Rome and Salento University in Lecce where he lectures on corporate law matters. He has authored tens of articles and chapters in legal journals and books.
